I am Summaya Salah, also known as Nyariz, a musician driven by passion, discipline, and creativity. I graduated with first-class honors from the Faculty of Music and Drama, an experience that shaped my artistic identity. Music has always been more than a profession to me; it is a language through which I express myself.
I play both the flute and the saxophone, instruments that allow me to explore a wide emotional range.
As a solo flutist, I had the honor of performing with the Sudan TV Orchestra.
This experience gave me valuable exposure and strengthened my performance skills. I have also performed with The Beautiful Orchestra, collaborating with talented musicians. My journey includes being part of Tanawa Band, where musical diversity and teamwork are essential. Each stage performance has contributed to my artistic growth. Alongside performing, I am deeply committed to music education.
I work as a flute teacher, helping students develop strong technical and expressive abilities. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge and passion with the next generation. I also serve as a music theory professor at Ommy International School. In this role, I focus on building a solid theoretical foundation for my students.
I believe understanding music theory enhances creativity and performance.
Education, to me, is a way of sustaining musical culture.
Beyond classrooms and stages, I am active as a content creator. I use digital platforms to share musical insights and educational content. Through my work, I aim to connect learning, performance, and inspiration. My goal is to continue growing while contributing meaningfully to the world of music.
